Troy moody glass artist

Troy Moody has been creating innovative art glass for more than two decades. He is a frequent contributor to various glass art publications, serves on the Board of Directors for the American Glass Guild and is the Glass Studio Lead at the renowned Mesa Arts Center where he has been sharing his knowledge with students since 2010. 

His portfolio includes more than 85,000 square feet of award winning Terrazzo designs for the Phoenix Convention Center and the Maricopa County Superior Court Tower. Other notable projects include installations for Scottsdale Public Art, the City of Glendale, Ascension Lutheran of Paradise Valley, the Phoenix Church of the Beatitudes, the Salvation Army Southwest Headquarters and countless luxury homes. 

In addition to his site-specific work, Troy produces mixed-media and kiln-formed glass art on an intimate scale, exhibited and collected nationwide. His current autonomous work relies heavily on an intuitive flow approach informed by decades of studio practice and private meditation. 

The Mesa Museum of Contemporary Art has selected Troy for a solo exhibition in their Permanent Collection Gallery, January - April 2022.
